Bike and Hike Adventures. The Heritage tour.
Combine the freedom of bicycling and the challenge of hiking to create the best possible
Japan experience! This type of tour is unique and available only with Japan Bike and Hike! You may bike and hike in any region
that is covered by our tours.
Hiking Adventures.
Hikes in the Kunisaki Heritage peninsula district, or in the more challenging Aso/Kuju and Sobo Mountain
areas are available.

We now offer a tour like none other in Japan. Come to remote
Kunisaki, in the town of Imi near Himeshima. Base from the Sato gallery and guest house, and peruse Japanese crafts in the
Master's Arts tour. This tour is great for families that don't want to become exhausted jumping from hotel to ryokan
and about. It is also wonderful for older people, and for those who want to study wood carving and pottery, it is a chance
to work with real living masters. Hikes, bike rides and general exploration are always available.

Schedule
All tours are booked on first-come first-served basis. Only
the hike tour is offered in winter, and in the heat of summer, only bike tours are offered. In spring
and fall, you can do anything!
If you don't have hard dates, here are tours you can join!
Oct. 5 to 9,
Heritage bike and hike tour.
Oct. 11 to 15, Heritage bike and hike tour.
Oct. 25 to 29, Kunisaki hike tour.
Oct.
31 to Nov. 6, Special cross Kyushu bike ride.
Nov. 10 to 14, Heritage bike and hike tour.
Dec. 14 to 18, Kunisaki
hike tour.
April 13th to 17, Heritage bike and hike tour.
You join these or plan dates not already taken.

* Free Rivers tour on Kyushu: Spring, summer and fall only.
* Okinawa Islands: Fall winter and spring
only.
* Shikoku Island: by special arrangement only.
Bike and Hike adventures
* In Kunisaki or Kuju/Aso Mountains: Spring summer or fall only.
Hike Adventures.
Unlike other tours, hikes are only offered spring
and fall. If you are hardy, winter may be an option.
Please note that summers are hot and often moisture-challenging,
and winter can be cold. Plan accordingly.
Hikes can be arranged for the Okinawa Islands during winter months.
