Japan Bike and Hike in Kyushu Japan

Welcome to Japan Bike and Hike. "Linked pages" are generally to Wikipedia! Educational and fun.

2012 is almost here and time to make plans for the spring bike and hike season.

The last year has been one of great changes, with the earthquake and tsunami, global recession and tough times.
While southern Japan had basically zero influence from the disasters, the perception of the people considering travel to Japan was profoundly affected.
Tourism from America fell, and for that reason, I stopped bike and hike tours for a year.

But other things are back on track, the number of people requesting bike trips is back up, and I have resumed the tours of Southern Japan.

Destinations  for Kuju and Aso volcanoes, to Kagoshima's famous Yakushima, island, the World Heritage Site and general bike touring are all available again!

I am happy to announce the addition of Chie Horigome as the resident mountain guide and with her experience, more mountain hike routes are now available.

This makes my life easier, because I can focus on providing you with the best service, while you can concentrate on having a great time in Japan!

There are many routes across Kyushu, with a variety of attractions and accommodations available. So how do you start?

If you want lasting memories and a close-up look at Japan, all wrapped up in a bicycle or hiking  adventure, then you are at the right place.

Our prices are still un-beatable.

Take a look at our .kmz Google Earth files, just a sample of our recent bike adventures.
